It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Kools of Appleton, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 4, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Hartl and Ruth Hartl (Stenquist). She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob"; her children, Michael Kools (Leondra), Daniel Kools (Sandra) and Karin Kools-Scheel (Paul); her grandchildren, Chad Kools (Ashley), Caitlin Scheel and Kellin Scheel; her great grandchild Chase Kools; her siblings, Claudeen Boyd (Kenny), Kathleen Faltynski (Denny), Mary Pettit (Joe), Pat Doyle (Joe) and Al Hartl, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Kathryn Schierl. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
