With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merlin A. Brunner of Appleton, Wisconsin, born in Leopolis, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 18, 2021 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Merlin A. Brunner to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert N. Brunner and Elithe Brunner (Chapin); his wife Joan Brunner; and his siblings, Emereth and Libbie Ann Zoglman.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Wolf (Kenneth), Mark Brunner (Lynn), Paul Brunner (Diana Cox), Peter Brunner (Kim) and Beth Calder (Andrew); his grandchildren, Gregg Wolf (Katie), Lindsay Seefeldt (Steve), Kevin Brunner (Georgia), Erin Riem (Karl), Adam Wolf (Amber), Damian Brunner (Jamie Leatherday), Shannon Brunner and Emily Calder; his great grandchildren, Sam, Paige, Claire, Ben, Penny, Gwen, Nate, Jordy, Maggie, Hadley and Maddie; and his sisters, Letitia Mader and Ramona Hanson (Roger). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to The Merlin and Joan Brunner Scholarship Fund at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Appleton.
