Ropella (Appleton, Wisconsin), born in Antigo, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 6, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Prosser and Jean Prosser (Rickman); her husband Dennis; her stepfather Charles Casperson; her brother Jack Prosser (Kay); and her children, Tom Ropella and Ann DeBruin.

She is survived by : her former life partner Roger Spindler; her children, Thomas Dennis and Mark Charles Ropella; her grandchildren, Sarah DeBruin, Charles DeBruin (Bethany), Rachel Ropella and Henry Ropella; her children-in-law, David DeBruin (Becky) and Carol Ropella; her friend Roger Spindler; and her sister Sally Hielsberg. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends.

Due to the current pandemic, a small private memorial service will be held with the hope of a larger gathering next year.
