He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Nuland and Loretta Van Nuland (Vanden Boogaard); and his brother-in-law William Weiss. He is survived by: his wife Kay Weinfurther; his daughters, Lorie Raddatz (Russ), Jill Phillips (Eric), Sally Van Nuland (Brandon Wilson), Michelle Stewart (Laura John) and Zoe Stewart Lewis (Jason Lewis); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Amelia, Taylor, Ethan, Paden, Zachary and Parker; and his siblings, Irene Van Handel (Ron), Carol Weiss, Ann Hofkens (Keith), Jane Kempen (Bernie), Karen Welhouse (Darrel), Mary Slatkey (Jim), Julie Schonscheck (Randy), Gary Van Nuland (Sue), Mark Van Nuland (Debbie) and Denis Van Nuland (Randy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
