It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter F. Skaer of Appleton, Wisconsin, born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on September 13, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Skaer and Marion Skaer (Ellis); his brother-in-law George Harrington; and his daughter Kaarie Skaer. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Skaer (VanHousen); his sister Sabra Harrington (Skaer); his children, Ted Skaer (Carolyn), Holly Patterson (Craig) and Jennifer Boldt (Ben); his grandchildren, Emily, Evan, Lizzie, Chase, Tyler and Zac; and also Rose Hermsen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
