It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Pheifer (Appleton, Wisconsin), born in Wausau, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 3, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Pheifer and Pearl Pheifer (Ramaker); his son Aaron; his siblings, Alan Pheifer, Phyllis Bogart, Joyce Fisher and Kathryn Votava; and his grandson-in-law Alex Foss.
He is survived by: his wife LaVerne Messman; his children, Dawn Birkhofer (Brice) of Perrysburg, OH, Laurie Krisher (Calvin) of Scandinavia, WI and Mary Hahneman (Dale) of Appleton, WI; his daughter-in-law Mary Pheifer of Missoula, MT; his grandchildren, Sandy Pheifer, Audrey Gabhart (Eric), Adrian Pheifer (Anna), Sarah Heyes (Stephen), Lindsay Brotzman, Ted Krisher (Courtney), Elissa Braaten (Logan), Sarah Syverson (Chase), Bobby Birkhofer (Allison) and Rebecca Foss; and his sister Marcia Westwater of Arizona. He is also survived by 31 great grandchildren.
