He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Grode and Aurelia Grode (Schmaltz); his son David; his siblings, Audrey Nussbaum (Grode) and Myron Grode; his sister-in-law Norma Grode; his parents-in-law, Art and Loretta Schwister; and his brother-in-law Larry Stingle.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Stingle; his children, Connie Rankin (Bob), Diane Nackers (Brian), Tim Grode (Leonia) of Clarksville, TN and Brenda Manley (Stephen); his grandchildren, Connie Kuske (Bernie), Patti Sigl (Craig), Dan Rankin (Ashley), Katie Burri (Craig), Ben Nackers (Sarah), Tyler Nackers (Katie), Heather Watson (Jarrett), Chris Stout, Zachary Kellner, Mackenzie Kellner, Emily Kellner, Jordan Kellner and Noah Manley; his great grandchildren, Carley, Bryce Kuske, Jonathan, Eddie Sigl, Alex, Emma Rankin, Adalyn, Olivia, Hazel Burri, Eli, Aaron and Wyatt Kunst; his brothers, Floyd and Rene Grode (Lois); his brother-in-law Ray Nussbaum; and his aunt Gloria Grode. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
