It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley K. Hankwitz-Herbst (Appleton, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Boardman and Mabel Boardman; her siblings, Gordon, Joyce, Jack, Richard and James; and her son David.

She is survived by: her former husband Gerald Herbst; her stepchildren, Eugene Dennis, Dawn (Wycoff), Deanne (Ottensmann), Daniel and Deborah (Grunewald); her husband Gerry; and her sisters, Jan and Sharon.
