It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irvin M. LaCount Jr. of Athelstane, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Irvin LaCount and Wilma LaCount (King); his wife Betty Ann Peterson; his siblings, Kenny, Rosie, Chuck, Darlene, Tim and Todd; and his daughter Jane Goden (Butch).

He is survived by : his children, Debbie Hanson (Gregg), Connie Wallace (Mike), Kelly LaCount (Jill) and Greg LaCount (Melissa); his grandchildren, Joe Hanson (Chelsea), Valerie Oskey (Jesse), Nick Hanson (Betsy), Wesley Hanson (Jessica), Mindy Schatz (Tim), Craig Wallace (Ashlee), Jack LaCount, Tiffany Grafen (Rich), Brandon Nelson (Cassie), Cole LaCount (Annahid), Gabrielle LaCount (Noah), Shado LaCount (Al), Carl LaCount (Laura) and Sammy LaCount; his great grandchildren, Layla, Alana, Noah, Ruby, Avery, Evalyn, Addie, Vaughn, Quinn, Maddie, McKenzie, Zoe, Sophia, River, Reggie, Cece, Ella and Mikie; his siblings, Judy Boesen (Dick), Mary, Brenda, Tommy, Tina, Scotty LaCount (Kathy) and Star Folk (Ed); and also Michael LaCount (Jan). He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes to donate funds to Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center, for their wonderful care shown and given to Irvin.
