He is survived by: his children, Randy Schmit (Donna), Susan Hyatt, Mary Servia, Ronald Schmit (Terri), Larry Schmit, Jeanne Jones (Alex), Theresa Budde (Curt Gerhard), Joseph Schmit, Jeffrey Schmit, Ann Berry (Scott), Stephen Schmit (Tammy), Donald Schmit (Shannon) and Brian Schmit (Josi); and his brothers, Jerry Schmit (Emmita) and John Schmit (Mary). He is also survived by 35 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
