It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hattie Helen Ellenbecker (Athens, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Warner Rodman and Mary Rodman (Klein); her husband Sylvester T. Ellenbecker (Fat); her son Sylvester Ellenbecker (Skip); her children-in-law, Carl Brown, Jerry Drexler, Randy Lewis and Judy Ellenbecker; her great grandchildren, Tyler Brown and William Kolpack; and her siblings, Herbert Rodman, Sr. (Mary), Raymond Rodman (Ottilie), Oscar Rodman (Helen), Henry Rodman (Sally), Marie Walters (Ervin) and Virginia Hope (David).
She is survived by : her children, Rodney (Eileen), Kenneth (Nancy), David, Thomas (Linda), William (Mary), Gerard (Marlene), Daniel (Julie), Dean (Angie), Mary Brown, Shirley Diethelm (Ferdinand), Teresa Heier (John), Susan Ellenbecker, Judy Drexler, Lori Gajewski (Dale) and Ann Weigand (Larry); and her daughter-in-law Theodora Ellenbecker-Kaiser. She is also survived by 53 grandchildren, 108 great-grandchildren and 26 great-great-grandchildren.
She created the foundation of our family, grounding it in faith and supporting us all with her warm and loving arms.
