It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter W. Klimpke Jr. of Athens, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 20, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sr. Klimpke and Alvina Klimpke (Christiansen); his son Wayne Klimpke; his brother Gerald Klimpke; his niece Pam Meier; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Komarek and Bev Meier.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Westphal; his daughters, Debbie Schilling (Mark) and Audra Klimpke; his sisters, Ruth Komarek and Shirley Liss (Clarence); his grandchildren, Steph Klimpke (Mark Kunze), Trevor Klimpke (Natalie Brophy), Kyle Schilling (Tanya Passeo) and Katlyn Schilling (Devon Wadzinski); his great grandchild Aiden Klimpke; his niece Patty Thurs (Todd); his nephew Shannon Meier (Cecile); his brother-in-law Ted Meier Jr.; and his pets, Dusty and Mouse.
