He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Brylla and Viola Brylla (Weinke); his brothers, Charles (Leola), Arnold (Claudia), Frank (Bev), Jerry, Robert and James; his son Tommy Billy Sr.; and his uncle Joe Brylla.

He is survived by : his former life partners, Gladys K. White Eagle and Tommy Billy of Dilcon; his wife Penny Brylla; his daughters, Yvonne Funmaker (Kory) and Yvette Alvarez (Francisco); his stepchildren, Robin Wepking (Don), Ronald Ruskowsky, Donald Bohn and Angela Ruskowsky; his grandchildren, Kayree Funmaker (Ken), Moses Alvarez, Maria Funmaker, Maura Alvarez, Tonya Billie, Tyson Billy (Shawna), Wilberta Billy, Joy Hollonquest (Clifton), Tawn Billy and Tommy Billy Jr. (Erin); his great grandchildren, Colin McAndrew, Abel Decorah, Archer Tech, Rory Holle, Axl McAndrew and Kenny McAndrew; his siblings, John Brylla and Viola Penshorn (Dennis); and his sister-in-law Carol Brylla. He is also survived by his 10 step-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
