He was predeceased by: his parents, Torge Goderstad and Clara Goderstad (Venden); his siblings, Nels, Bertha, Charlotte, Victor and Richard; and his granddaughter Amanda.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret C. Olson; his son Todd Goderstad (Susan); his grandchildren, Lindy Waskosky (Michael) and Erik Goderstad (Kate); and his great grandchildren, Tristen, Elisha, Jeremiah, Jace and Jada Waskosky. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Due to the current limitations with COVID-19, a Celebration of Bert's Life will be held at St. Philip's Lutheran Church at a later date.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to St. Phillips Church or St. Olaf College.
