With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Franz of Bloomer, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 27, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolf Franz and Sophia Franz (Lang); his wife Wanda Swartz; his siblings, Joe, Trig, Norb, Bob, Marv, Elsie Kocian and Edna; and his siblings-in-law, Irma, Marcie, Marlene and Monroe Swartz.
He is survived by: his children, Clete (Nancy) of Bloomer, Brenda Miller (Mike) of Bloomer and Deon Derks (Dennis) of Chippewa Falls; his brother Arnold Franz of Bloomer; his siblings-in-law, Evone Arendt of Bloomer, Sylvia Franz of Chippewa Falls, Bernadette Swartz of Chippewa Falls and Russel Swartz (Beverly) of Iron River; his grandchildren, Isaac (Samantha), Zane Miller (Madison), Brody (Amber), Austin Derks (Natalie) and Samone Derks (Carleen Blaine); and his close friend Rebecca Robey. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
