Patricia M. Mielke Obituary

Age 92, of Brookfield, Wisconsin, formerly of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2022.

On September 8, 1930, in Milwaukee, she was born the daughter of the late John and Edna Promersperger. She and Carl Mielke were married and lived in Wauwatosa, where she was a homemaker and raised their children and many foster children. Pat enjoyed playing cards, cooking and traveling. She was an avid reader, but her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and friends. Pat is survived by 5 children: Jerome T. "Tim" Miller (Patricia) of Sheboygan, WI, Gregory A. Mielke (Jenifer) of Brookfield, WI, Steven T. Mielke (Ruth) of Franklin, WI, Kim M. Schubert (Thomas) of Chenequa, WI, and David J. Mielke (Kim) of North Fort Myers, FL, and 9 grandchildren: Katharin Watson (Mark), David Miller (Michelle), Mary Shaw (Chad), Sarah Crain (Sean), Jack Mielke, Sam Mielke, Tommy Schubert, Max Mielke, and Andy Schubert. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, Luke and Zachary Watson, Emily, Preston and Ashley Miller, Louis LaBouve, Kaydn and Kiera Shaw and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, her sister, Dolores and her brother, John. A visitation will be held at Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home at 10121 W. North Avenue, Wauwatosa, WI on Saturday, October 22nd from 10 a.m. to noon with a brief service to follow. Fellowship and luncheon to follow at Alioto's Restaurant. The burial will be held privately at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
