He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman J. Licht and Flora Licht; his parents-in-law, Donald and Carol Prailes; his brother Duane; his fathers-in-law, Dave Umnus, Warren Ranker and Richard Lois; and his niece Diane Yanke.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Prailes; his children, Russell Licht II, Timothy Licht (Jan), Joseph Licht (Carrie), James Licht and Megan Licht; his grandchildren, Eric Licht, Tyler Licht, Taylor Edwards, Calysta Lewis, Lainey Licht and Lia Licht; his great grandchildren, Violet and Camdin; and his siblings, Esther Lois of Burlington, Ethel Ranker of Burlington, Millie Umnus of Burlington, Alice Anderson and Ken Kerkhoff (Kay). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials in honor of Russell may be sent to the Burlington Fire Department or to the Alzheimer Association.
