He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia McDonald; his children, Ann Wegge and Michael Wegge; and his brother Robert Wegge. He is survived by: his children, Herbert (Stella Wegge), Patrick Wegge, Diane Schiller (Steve), Tim Wegge (Brenda) and Tom Wegge (Anne); his grandchildren, Katie Kull (Tom), Sarah Quackenboss (Adam), Haley Schiller (Travis Bachofen), Alec Wegge, Connor Wegge, Paige Wegge and Hope Janson (Noah); his great grandchildren, Lilly Quackenboss and Hazel Quackenboss; his sister-in-law Shirley Pierce; his friend Dr. Paul Webber; and his close friends, Marilyn, Renee, Janay and Brenda S.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Association, Immaculate Conception St. Mary Parish, Aurora at Home Hospice, or to the Burlington Lions Club.
