She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Hirtreiter and Ruth Hirtreiter (Miller); her husband Edward H. Peterson; and her siblings, Kathryn Metz and Fred Hirtreiter.

She is survived by : her brother Frank Hirtreiter (Bette) of Butternut. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
