He was loved and cherished by many people including: his uncle Floyd; his wife Patricia "Reinke" Durand; his children, Scott Durand (Carla), Sandy Sarauer (Tim), Sue Durand, Sheri Durand, Stacey Durand, Steve Durand (Kelly), Sean Durand (Jennifer) and Sam Durand (Kim); his sister Norma; his parents, Ernest Durand and Mary Durand; his parents-in-law, Ed and Helen Reinke; his niece LeAnn; his brother Carl; his sister-in-law Audrey Schmitz; and his nephew Robert Schmitz. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
