He was predeceased by : his parents-in-law, Chris and Ruth Voigt; and his nephew Ray Schommer. He is survived by : his brother-in-law Marv; his son-in-law Todd; his wife Janis; his daughters, Tracy Conradt (Todd) and Kelli Radies (Tony Thunker); his grandsons, Chance and Edison Thunker; and his sisters, Donna Schommer (Marv) and Elayne Emmons (Jim).

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established by Duwayne's family.
