He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Hoiland and Clara Hoiland (Halverson); his former wife Judy Ford; his siblings, Richard, Gordon, David, Cleo Pierce and Shirley Lee; and his stepdaughter Erin Hibma.
He is survived by: his wife Hillary Hoban; his children, Phillip Hoiland (Shirley), Trina Hoiland, Shannon Hoiland (Shawna) and Wendy Donahue; his stepson Zachary Hibma; his sister Betty Feuerhelm (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Pierce, James Hoban (Lamon) and Veronica Hoiland. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sparta American Legion (1116 Angelo Rd, Sparta, WI 54656).
