With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Antoinette Gumbert (Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin), born in Bloomer, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 18, 2019 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Newton and Mary Newton (Wagner); her husband Leslie "Red" Gumbert; her stepson Leslie "Skip" Smith; and her siblings, Evelyn Deladurantey, Helen Bailley, Percy, Earl, Gerald and Wallace Newton.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles (Janet) of Roberts, WI, Larry (Elaine) of New Richmond, WI, Daniel of Elk Mound, WI and James (Maria); her stepson Robert Smith (Lola) of Olympia, WA; and her stepdaughter-in-law Geri Smith of Olympia, WA. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and many other relatives and friends.
