He is survived by: his wife Susan Hauptman; his children, Scott Olson (Kim Christoph), Sarah Stabenow (Steven) and Jennifer Freidrich (Jon); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Olson, Sonny Stabenow, Bella Stabenow, Kailee Olson, Devyn Christoph, James Larson, Alex Larson and Charlotte Freidrich; his siblings, Douglas Olson (Marlene) and Debra Lukes (Duwayne); and his friends, David Stai (Joanne), John Schuetz and Mark Hansen.
