He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul H. Raihle and Sylvia Raihle; his siblings, Richard Raihle (Irene), June Esklund (Harry), Pauline Wiensch (Dale) and Alys Melton; his nieces, Laurie Vold and Dana Melton; and his nephew David Melton.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, David Jr. Raihle (Rita), Paula Pederson (Glenn), Christine Richards (Thomas) and Richard Raihle; and his grandchildren, James Richards, Hannah Pederson, Alexis Raihle, William Richards, Joshua Pederson and David Raihle III.
