He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Worthington and Zola Worthington (Malosh); his wife Dorothy Steinmetz; his son Jerry Worthington; and his siblings, Vernon "Knobby", Bernard "Frosty", Alvin Worthington, Leota Davis, Leila Haller (Russel), Vesta Klatt (Marlow) and Sheryl Dixson (Ron).
He is survived by: his children, Candy Swope (Steve), Sheila Worthington, Jon Worthington, Janie Hamman (Mitch) and Mary Jo Wruck (Mike); and his siblings, Ester Pederson, Carl Worthington and Lyle Worthington (Corrine). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
