He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Smetana and Elsie Smetana; and his sister Mary Jane Marquardt. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Smetana; his children, Tammy Smetana (Jim Zempel), Don Smetana (Marsha) and Bonnie Hill (Randy); his brothers, Bob Smetana (Lois) and Joe Smetana (Vicky); and his grandchildren, Ashley Larkowski, Brian Larkowski, Joshua Coyle, Derek Smetana, Dylon Smetana and Coral Hill. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
