He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl H. Norquist and Julia Norquist (Johnson); his wife Elizabeth M. Bowe; his great-grandparents, Per and Helena Norquist (Ersdotter); his children, Robert Norquist (Peg) of Eau Claire, Karen Norquist of Eau Claire, Larry Norquist (Beth) of Eau Claire and Mark Norquist (Patti) of Chippewa Falls; his sister Ardith Gorton of Chippewa Falls; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Chad (Hannah), Sara (Brian), Carrie (Luke), Erin, Michael (Taylor) and Kayla; his siblings, Delores Steinmetz, Margorie Walworth, Ralph and Jerry Norquist; his granddaughter Melissa Norquist; and his grandson-in-law Ryan Berg. He was also cherished by five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lyle's memory can be made to St. Charles Capital Fund.
