It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rae Swenson of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 5, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rae Swenson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Selma Ekern and Noble Ekern; and her cousin Art Hanson. She is survived by: her husband Swede of Chippewa Falls; her children, Shari Barney (Jamie) of Livingston, MT, Parry (Sandy) of Plymouth, MN and Brady (Katrin) of Schwabisch Hall, Germany; her grandchildren, JJ (Kristin), Johanna Rae Barney, Kallan, Lauren, Kristen Swenson, Sky, Lark Johann and Kailani Rae Swenson; her sisters, Merry Lee Oestreich (Dennis) and Carolyn Schroeder; and her siblings-in-law, Dean Swenson and Arlene Swenson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Irvine Park Band Shell Benches, Mayo Hospice, Boys and Girls Club of the Chippewa Falls, or donor's choice.
