He is survived by: his former wife Sonja Dunn; his wife Vickie Gardner; his sons, Robert Gardner Jr. (Susan) of Eau Claire and Joseph Gardner (Andrea) of Eau Claire; his grandchildren, Joseph Gardner Jr. of Chippewa and Jordyn Gardner of Chippewa; his siblings, Gregory Gardner (Patricia) of Altoona, Monica Bauer (Randy) of Eau Claire and Scott Gardner of Eau Claire; and his siblings' children, Brad Gardner (Amy), Trever Bauer (Tammie), Trista Lontz (Chris), Kalena Berzinski, Sarah Mitchell, Samantha Mitchell (Tom), Stephanie Locke (Rockey), Shelby Mitchell, Mila Mitchell, Rachelle Berzinski, Connie Grimm, Janelle Mitchell (Joe) and Melinda Oliver (Craig).
