He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry C. Wenzel and Vera Wenzel (Ville Monte); and his sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Wenzel and Marquise Wenzel. He is survived by: his friend Nila Newton of Chippewa Falls; his children, Linda Misfeldt (Gary) of Lake Hallie, Kathleen Wenzel of Washington, Jean Turner (Randy) of Bloomer, Jeff Newton (Lynn) of Chippewa Falls and Lee Newton (Kit) of Chicago, IL; and his grandchildren, Jason Misfeldt (Katie), Brian Misfeldt (Amanda), Ryan (Courtney Erickson), Travis Turner (Heather), Lauren, Erin Heen, Madeline, Marilyn, Luke Newton, Michael, Shatriya (Jazmyn Allende) and Skylor Newton. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
