He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter W. Goltz and Minnie Goltz (Kroll); and his former life partner Shirley Buchholz. He is survived by : his son Little League; his wife Phyliss Brunner; his children, Elizabeth Kramer (Erik), Mark Goltz (Ellen), Green Bay and David "Gus" Goltz (Amy); his grandchildren, Lindsey McMahon (Kurt), Ryan Goltz (Katie Winkelspecht), Ben Bohl (Heather), Tyler Goltz, Amanda Goltz (Nash Herbst), Hannah O'Connor (Callum), Shannon Goltz, Alex Kramer and Eli Kramer; his great grandchildren, Emma, Rory McMahon and Easton Bohl; his aunt Jeanette Malloy; his stepdaughter Diane Fuhrman (Jim); his son Bruce Fritz (Karen); his grandchildren, Megan Suehring (Dean), Michael Fuhrman (Sheri), Tom Fritz, Emily Fritz (Jason Wesenick), Kaitlin Bricco (Brent) and Elizabeth Fritz; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Andrew, Evelyn Suehring and Matthew Fuhrman Many.

Due to COVID-19 safety, Don's funeral service at Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville and interment at Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville, will be held privately, with the Rev. Brian Crocker officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to be directed to Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville and/or The Navarino Nature Center.
