With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Mae Schmidt of Colby, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 7, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew Wiersma and Marcia Wiersma (Wickham); her husband Lawrence Schmidt; her brothers, Wilbur Wiersma (Willy) and Raymond Wiersma (Bud); and her granddaughter Amy.
She is survived by : her children, John (Bev) of Wausau, Peggy Erickson of Colby, Susie Jecevicus (Peter) of Colby, Linda Geiger of Marshfield, Rocky (Bobbi) of Colby, Jeri Schmidt (Bill) of Abbotsford, Judy Sebold (Mark) of Colby and Carol Beyer (Dan) of Medford. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, two great-great-granddaughter and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
