Joanne Nitschke Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanne Nitschke formerly of Columbus, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 3, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Edwin Mulligan and Doris Mulligan (Lang); her husband George Nitschke; her brother Bernard Mulligan; her daughter-in-law Tricia; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Jones, Dale Hendricks, Ruth and Byron Freck.
She is survived by : her friend Herb Wetzel; her son Dana (Shelly) of Alamo Heights, TX; her grandchildren, Ryan Nitschke, Rachel Schultz (Cody), Tommy, Molly Nitschke and Mallory Cohn; her great grandchild Cormac Schultz; and her sisters, Jeanne Jones of Columbus and Donna Hendricks of Columbus. She is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
A memorial mass will be held at a later date, post Covid-19.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jerome Church or Prairie Ridge Health.
