It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip J. Bakkestuen (Coon Valley, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bakkestuen and Annette "Tootsie" Bakkestuen (Ofte); and his brother Jeffrey "Fritz". He is survived by: his son Joseph Bakkestuen (Renee); his grandson John; his sisters, Jo Ann Palmer and Tena Goodwin (Mark); his nieces and nephews, Jessey Bakkestuen (Tim), Ash Goodwin (Hailie) and Autumn Goodwin (Jordan); his sister-in-law Yvonne Bakkestuen; his close friend Lex; and his pet Peanut.
