He was predeceased by : his parents, Alfred Pieper and Mary Pieper (Patzner); his sisters, Genevieve and Frances; and his brother-in-law Archie Asleson.
He is survived by : his wife Rose; his children, Shirley Randall (Joe), Theresa Sedlacek (Richard), Catherine Greenseth (Rik), Donna Woodcock (Jim), Edwin Pieper (Missy), William Pieper (Stephanie), Nicholas Pieper (Tami), Anne Vanden Heuvel (Eric), Margaret Schwartz (Todd), Regina Blodgett (Terry), Veronica Romanowski (Nathan) and Karen Simington (Justin); his siblings, Jane Hinrichs (Duane), Joni Yankowiak (Don), Marjorie Asleson, Janice Halfman (Jim), Donald Pieper, Gerald Pieper (Mary), Alfred Jr. Pieper (Judy), Mary Pieper, Thomas Pieper (Joan), Susan Kurth (Lyman), Kevin Pieper (Jaime) and Judith Van Keulen (Dennis); and his grandson Rev. Daniel J. Sedlacek. He is also survived by 39 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
