She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Adams and Ethel Adams; her siblings, Herman, Margaret, Robert, Father Benedict, Frances, Eugene, Arnold, Bernard, Marie and Sister Cordelle; her husband Philip; her daughter-in-law Laura Gillett; and her grandson-in-law Matthew Orth.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Jane Sommersberger (Rick), Anne Catherine Speckhard, Maria Cordelle Santo (Andy), Joan Marie Carey (Patrick), John Robert Gillett (Michele), Bernard John Gillett (Sally), Mary Clare Kemper (Steve) and Robert Francis Gillett; her grandchildren, Rachel Anne, Shawn Nytes, Sophia, Amelia, Levi, Abigail, Bryce, Rebekah Diane, Adam Schroeder, Siena, Adeline, Heidi Maria, B. J. Harry, Olivia, Greyson, Otto, Leah Catherine, Jessica Carol Anne, Taylor Sloan, Katarina, Daniel Thomas Theodore, John Paul, Nicola, Elanor, Adrian, Gabriel, Thomas James and Sonia; her children, Benedict, David, Nicholas, Emma, Zélie, Peter Francis, Michael Joseph, Stephen Andrew and Catherine Maria; her grandchildren, Philip Steven, Mary Cordelia, Andrew Jerome, Monica Rose, Margaret Michele, Teresa Maria and Anna Grace; her great grandchildren, Katherine Cordelia, Claire Margaret (Daniel Miller) and Mary Rose; her grandchildren, Elise Anne, Jeremy Bernard, Robert Francis (Delaney), Joseph Anthony, Catie, Rose, Esther, Dominic, Daniel John, Michael Philip and Thomas Benedict (Olivia); and her great grandchildren, Benjamin Michael, Kevin Patrick (Laura), Madeleine Mary and Margaret Veronica. She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's of Pine Bluff Catholic Church (3673 County Rd P, Cross Plains, WI 53528). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Her long journey with Alzheimer's disease was marked by humble serenity and trust.
