He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hornung and Angeline Hornung; his brothers-in-law, Donald Kaltenberg, Bill Sellmeyer and Paul Fahey; and also, Bernard and Isabelle Ripp.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Ripp; his children, Brian (Julie) and Michelle Reynolds (Kraig); his grandchildren, Kelsey, Ashley, Zachary, Cole and Hailey; and his siblings, Nick Hornung (Marilyn), Joanne Sellmeyer, Barb Fahey (Pat), John Hornung (Nancy), Jane Fahey, Mary Maier and Kathy Bladl (Larry). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
