With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joyce A. Stommel of Middleton, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joyce left this world on May 22, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Anderson and Marie Anderson (Kaehr); and her husband Raymond Stommel. She is survived by: her children, Anne Marie Govier (Gordon) and Robert Stommel (Jayne); her grandchildren, Jon Michael, Clifton Stommel, Andrew, Sam Govier, Sara Gordon (Ryan) and Brian Wendt (Mika); and her great grandchildren, Lana, Audrey Gordon, Eden Govier and Anna Wendt.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gunderson West Funeral & Cremation Care (7435 University Ave, Middleton, WI 53562). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Union Grove Cemetery (21731 Spring St, Union Grove, WI 53182).
