He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Mitchell and Marie Mitchell; his sibling Delores Cauley (late Pete); his parent-in-law Dorothy; his sibling-in-law Sharon (Gary); and his son Patrick.

He is survived by: his children, Randy (Janine), Kellie Becker (Jerry) and Corrie Mitchell (Glenn Hagata); his grandchildren, Emily and Alex; his parent-in-law William Stelloh; and his sibling-in-law Janice.
