He was predeceased by: his mother-in-law Lillian Bellas; and his brother-in-law Robert Grieme. He is survived by: his wife Diana; his children, Scott Benton (Patti) of Cudahy, WI and Melissa Cripe (Barry) of Cerro Gordo; his grandchildren, Noah Benton of Milwaukee, WI, Drew Cripe and Addison Cripe of Cerro Gordo; his great grandchild Ezekiah Benton of Decatur; and his sisters, Linda Grieme of Surprise and Lynette Yarnell (Jim) of Bethany.
