She was predeceased by: her husband Henry; her grandson Matthew (Akosua); and her siblings, Donald Gumowski and Betty Plennes. She is survived by: her sons, Michael (Sue), Matthew (Mary), Henry (Karen) and Steve; her grandchildren, Melissa (Joel), Kelly (Scott) and Katie; her great grandchildren, Jack, Kwame, Kofi, Reese, Nathan and Kacie; her sisters, Rose Witz and JoAnne Serkowski; her friend Joyce Gorski; her cousin Shirley Kurowski; and her daughter-in-law Debbie Nuszbaum. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family members, friends.
