He is survived by: his spouse Susan Puranen August (Rytman); his children, Carrie Janes (Greg), Colleen Drake (David) and Christopher Puranen (Laura); his sisters, Delores Barross and Patricia Wickline (Marvin); his grandchildren, Alyson Carozza (Daniel), Lesley Janes, Andrew, Lucile, Olivia Puranen, Travis Drake and Taylor Drake; and his brother Brian Puranen.
