He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Nerling and Hazel Nerling (Topper); his wife Paula Wolf; and his sister Donna McKay. He is survived by: his son Matt Nerling; his brothers, David and Bo Nerling; his nephew Tom Nerling (Amber); his niece Kristina Nerling (Carri Jo Bunker); his brother-in-law Toby McKay; his nephew Robert Miller; and his close friend Albert Paffel.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church - Almena (426 17th Ave, Almena, WI 54805). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
