He was predeceased by: his wife Donna; his parents, Leo and Fay; his brother Kenneth; and his brother-in-law Boyd Trickle.
He is survived by: his siblings, Pauline Trickle and Don Reichling (Karen); and his stepchildren, Mike O'Brien (Theresa), Dan O'Brien (Denita), Diane Grindey (Rich) and Shawn O'Brien. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, cousins, and his grand-dog.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Pete's name.
