He was predeceased by: his child Kristin Horne. He is survived by: his son Maxwell Horne; and his siblings, Jeff Horne (Deanna), Susan Ganz and Kevin Horne (Joan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Wisconsin Alzheimer's Institute.
