He is survived by: his spouse Felipa Labao; his children, Ana Fe Kangas (Brian) of Delavan, Myra Mataya, Antonio Jr. Mataya (Bernadette), Bernard Mataya (Maribel) and Analyn Mataya (Marlon); his grandchildren, Tara, Brianna Kangas, Garbin, Dianna, Ashley, Barbie, Alyssa, Michelle, Ahren, Jheanard and Daniel Anthony; and his siblings, Andres Mataya and Milagros Molato.
