He was predeceased by: his father Charles; and his aunts and uncles, Michael, Phillip, Eleanore and Mary.

He is survived by: his mother Patricia Winders Jr.; his sisters, Penny Ann and Tricia Grossert (Jay); his siblings' children, Brandon, Lorelei and Natalie; and his uncles, Richard Mathis and Bruce Mathis (Kathy).
