She was predeceased by: her parents, Ewald Kroning and Selma Kroning; her husband Joseph Hitzemann; her grandchildren, Bret and Jerimie; and her siblings, Kenneth, LaVern, Donald, Marlene, Arlene, Leon and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Wintersteen (Barry) of Cary, IL, Deborah Beck (Clifford) of Algonquin, IL, Joseph Hitzemann II of Sterling, VA and Dawn Walters (Steve) of Elkhorn; her grandchildren, Scott, Shea Wintersteen, Jason Beck, William and Amanda Hitzemann; her great grandchildren, Aiden, Madelyn, Mason and Dylan; and her sister Shirley Brown.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with School, Trinity Lutheran Church in West Chicago, or Agrace Hospice.
