He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Haeft and Ina Haeft (Reese); and his brother Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Cheri Chapin; his children, Kimberley Hesebeck of Clinton, WI and Josh Haeft of Delavan; his grandchildren, Jordan, Mason, Taylor, Owen, Lauren and Katelyn; his great grandchildren, Miles and Landen; and his siblings, Ilagene Pinnow (Ken) of Janesville, Laurinda Boone (Tom) of Phelps, WI and Stan Gehri (Mary) of Beloit.
